COMMEMORATION OF THE WORLD PRESS FREEDOM DAY IN UGANDA

The function was organised at Mestil Hotel, Kampala on Thursday 5th May 2022 by the Uganda Media Sector Working Group (UMSWG) which brings together a number of stakeholders, including the Media Council of Uganda, NIRAS Fojo Media Institute, Uganda Communication Commission (UCC), Makerere University, National Association of Broadcasters, African Centre for Media Excellence, Uganda Human Rights Commission, Collaboration on International ICT Policy in East and Southern Africa (CIPESA), OMPA, and other stakeholders (All photos by Akwesiga Rodgers).
